Worldwide there are 2 billion people that have no or only limited access to financial services. Most of them are in emerging markets. To solve this problem FairMoney has created an android application which is using smartphone data to build instant credit scores and give loans to individuals & small businesses (operating today in Nigeria).

Our ambition: becoming the leading digital bank of emerging markets.

FairMoney has been created in 2017. In February 2019, we crossed the bar of the 400,000 disbursed loans, raised 10m EUR and want to reach 1 million disbursed loans by the end of the year. We plan to open 4 new countries this year and create new functionalities for our customers such as savings, payments and debit accounts.

Job Description

As we experience tremendous growth for our business and our team, and need a talent acquisition manager to help build our team in Paris (the headquarter which hosts the finance, product and technical teams). We are looking for bar raisers: people that raise the standards - that are excellent in what they do and willing to solve big challenges.

The talent acquisition manager will own all aspects of recruiting, including outreach, screening and interviewing, managing candidates, and acting as an advisor and trusted resource to hiring managers and interview teams for the team in France. The talent acquisition manager is also responsible to create the employer brand for FairMoney, set up recruitement processes and write Job Descriptions. This position is a key role for FairMoney and will report directly to the CEO.



  • Acquire: Identify and hunt the best profiles in tech, marketing, finance and operations.
  • Interview: Take interviews to sell the company and filter the best candidates in the above mentioned categories
  • Hire: close the best candidates
  • Ensure candidates have an excellent interview experience regardless of the outcome

Process and Employer Branding:

  • Build and improve the hiring process
  • Build brand awareness in the Paris startup and/or tech ecosystem
  • Participate in meetups, events
  • Write job descriptions

Preferred Experience

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a startup desired
  • Top business school in France or abroad is a must
  • Results-driven and numbers-oriented
  • Logical and analytical thinking
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Data and process-driven approaches to HR
