Job Description

You will be working as our Finanace Manager in our Finance Division which is now composed of 3 people worldwide. You will be based in Lagos (currently our largest market) and working with our finance team based in Paris.

The Finance department at FairMoney is a key component in this mission to provide banking services to all consumers across emerging markets. Finance drives the reporting, the strategic analysis and the financial operations to make FairMoney's mission possible.

🔧 We are waiting for you to work on :

  • Financial reporting and delivering monthly management reports for FairMoney Nigeria on time,
  • Improving our reporting processes,
  • Actively manage and control our cost base,
  • Managing relevant accounting and audit related items with a strong timeline orientation,
  • Managing cash operations,
  • Supporting general finance ops,
  • Supporting and driving subsidiary profitability through cost-control and reporting

Preferred Experience

  • You should have 4+ years previous exp.; strong preference from the Big 4 (auditing, financial control, reporting role),
  • You have Accounting/Audit/FPnA/Cash Operations/Financial Controller expertise,
  • You must have a ""Do it mentality"",
  • You should have a technical accounting knowledge,
  • You must have experience and willingness to work on finance admin,
  • You must have financial services experience or focus,
  • You should have performed in the capacity as a financial manager, financial controller or treasurer for either a digital credit or financial services company.

Recruitment Process
